1. About These Terms
These Terms govern your use of My Companion (the “App”), operated by Mohammed Bouzar. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Use of the App
Subject to these Terms and the rules of the store from which you obtained the App, you may install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
You must not use the App unlawfully, interfere with its operation or third-party services, attempt to bypass purchase or advertising controls, copy or redistribute the App, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits.
3. Pet Data and App Settings
The App stores pet information and preferences locally on your device. You are responsible for the device, backups, and any consequences of resetting or uninstalling the App. The Privacy Policy explains how analytics, advertising, notifications, and purchase services operate.
4. Advertising
The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob when valid configuration and ad inventory are available. Advertising content is provided by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party advertisements or the products and services they promote.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
The App may offer optional one-time purchases of virtual coin packs when enabled by platform configuration. In the current configuration, these purchases are disabled on both Android and iOS. Payments are processed by the applicable store, and RevenueCat may manage or validate purchase status. Availability may change in a future version or through store configuration.
Store terms and payment policies also apply to purchases made through the relevant platform.
6. Notifications
The App may provide optional local notifications. You control whether notifications are enabled and may disable them through the App or device settings. Notification availability may vary by device and operating system.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, artwork, code, sounds, and content, is owned by Mohammed Bouzar or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no ownership rights.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature, including advertising or purchase features, subject to applicable law and store policies.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the App, users, or third parties. Any store-specific refund rights remain governed by applicable law and store policies.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the App, its services, legal obligations, or platform requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are published.
13. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by the My Companion Privacy Policy.
